Responsible for the timely and accurate processing of Bank’s payroll and its maintenance, reporting and reconciliations. Works with HR Management to enhance customer service, processing efficiencies, and strong internal controls while supporting the Banks’ strategic plan. Performs any functions, within scope of authority and expertise, to provide the highest level of service and responsiveness to customers and co-workers.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience. Five years of dedicated payroll experience with a profound understanding of payroll systems and activities Strong understanding of payroll taxes, compliance and reporting. Must possess at least intermediate technology skills including knowledge of word processing database and spreadsheet applications and automated payroll systems and HRIS. Must be extremely detail oriented to have the ability to positively mediate difficult situations through and able effective communication both verbally and in writing. CCP or FCP designation highly preferred. A profound understanding of payroll systems and activities.
