  • Overview

    The SharePoint Workflow Developer I provides oversight on the Bank’s Business Automation platform to improve operational and data intensive business processes.  This person is responsible for creating single process automated workflow solutions (using an industry leading platform K2) based upon business requirements that will increase efficiency and productivity. They will work with Business Analysts to understand and define the functional and technical requirements and user acceptance testing (UAT) plans to ensure the solution meets the requirements. Performs any functions, within scope of authority and expertise, to provide the highest level of service and responsiveness to customers and co-workers.

    Responsibilities

    • Work with Level 2 & 3 workflow engineers and assist with the creation and customization of workflows verifying that design meets quality standards and functional/technical requirements.
    • Creates workflows, forms and smart object integrations using industry leading workflow platform (K2).
    • Implements, tests, and debug workflows that integrate with SharePoint.
    • Validates the Technical Specification Documentation against the workflow solution.
    • Responsible for tracking and monitoring all support tickets with the vendor.
    • Collaborates with ECM technical team on integration with SharePoint while adhering to Microsoft technology best practices.
    • Works with the SharePoint Farm Administrator to learn and understand the integration between the two platforms.
    • Technical escalation responsibilities to resolve production support issues and responds rapidly to make small adjustments to workflow functionality due to changing business needs.

     

     

     

    Requirements

    • An Associate’s degree in computer science, information systems or equivalent work experience required.
    • Must be proficient in Microsoft productivity stack (Office).
    • Two to four years of experience working with SharePoint and workflow applications preferred.
    • Fundamental ASP .NET and C# development skills required.
    • Ability to learn and apply various programming techniques and process.
    • Demonstrates strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills to allow efficient and effective problem identification and apply appropriate solution.
    • Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks and shifting priorities; strong attention to detail.
    • Ability to prioritize work assignments based on the needs of the department or business goals.
    • Must be able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

    • Must have schedule flexibility and be able to work extended hours and weekends
    • Must have a valid driver’s license. Regular travel to bank sites required.
