Assists the Regional Branch Manager in ensuring that the branch functions in an effective and efficient fashion. Oversees branch staff and assists in the scheduling, coordination, and delegation of work assignments. Supports branch service and sales goals, and assists staff in meeting related goals. Promotes good customer relations through the transacting of a wide array of banking transactions. Sells products and services and provides customer service in conformance with established Bank policies, procedures and objectives. Performs functions, within scope of authority and expertise, to provide the highest level of service and responsiveness to customers and co-workers.
Supports the Regional Branch Manager with the supervision and scheduling of branch staff. Regularly oversees and manages these functions in the Regional Branch Manager’s absence.
Coordinates staffing coverage throughout the Region in the absence of the Regional Branch Manager.
Assists the Regional Branch Manager in administering various initiatives, including product and process enhancements; policy changes; training initiatives; and sales campaigns.
Assists the Regional Branch Manager with various HR related processes, including performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.
Assists the Regional Branch Manager in educating, coaching and motivating branch staff to recognize and fulfill branch-related sales and service expectations. Provides ongoing communication, coaching, and feedback to staff regarding performance and goals.
Assists customers with the acquisition of new products and services while providing consistently high levels of customer service. Opens various accounts and facilitates the resolution of service-related issues and problems.
Maintains knowledge of Bank products and services. Utilizes said knowledge to identify and actively pursue needs-based sales opportunities in keeping with established objectives. Also uses said knowledge to effectively refer sales opportunities to other departments.
Assists customers with loan application and processes applications in accordance with prescribed policies and procedures. Conducts loan closings as appropriate.
Actively works with Regional Branch Manager to meet or exceed assigned personal, sales and service goals.
Assists the Regional Branch Manager with training new Banking Specialists.
Assists in the caretaking of the branch building, grounds and equipment. Performs security routines, including opening and closing branch office and vault, in accordance with protocol.
Represents the Bank through participation in various community activities.
Performs the functions of a Senior Teller, Senior Banking Specialist II, or Senior Banking Specialist as necessary and appropriate.
Performs all duties in accordance with prescribed security and regulatory guidelines. Maintains proficiency in regulatory compliance and industry developments and apprises staff of same.
Complies with all Bank policies including those pertaining to confidentiality, email, and business attire.
Completes all prescribed training in a timely fashion, as requested.
Performs related and unrelated duties as may be requested.
Performs work independently within scope of established guidelines and practices. Consults with manager where clarification or exception to Bank policy may be required.
Same as Assistant Branch Manager except has more complexity within their daily responsibilities. Such complexity arises directly from assignment to a Regional Branch.
