  • Overview

    The Retail Lending Risk Analyst performs a variety of functions related to vendor management, risk mitigation and compliance within the Retail Lending Operations department.  Works directly with department management in the execution of related projects and process improvements.  Performs any functions within the scope of authority and expertise to provide the highest level of service to customers and co-workers.

    Responsibilities

    • Participates in the administration of the division’s vendor management program.
      • Facilitates the execution of new contracts and the subsequent extensions.
      • Completes vendor risk assessments.
      • Conducts user access and privileged user activity reviews and maintains associated records.
      • Obtains model related documentation and assists with validation.
    • Works with vendors to address quality, compliance or customer service concerns
    • Reviews and validates invoices.
    • Assists with the administration of the division’s compliance program.
      • Completes assigned compliance risk assessments.
      • Provides information requested in conjunction with internal and external audits, as well as state and federal exams.
      • Maintains records for compliance related training.
    • Maintains department policies and procedures, assists with the distribution to appropriate staff and/or posting to the Retail Lending SharePoint site, ensuring all are current.
    • Provides support for special projects, such as the development and introduction of a new loan product or service or enhancements to existing ones, and completes related assignments.
    • Ensures full compliance with the Bank’s Information Security Policies and Procedures.
    • Prepares and distributes a variety of recurring and special reports for use in the administration of the division, and to meet regulatory requirements.
    • Represents the Bank through participation in community and industry organizations and promotes the interests of the Bank throughout the community.
    • Performs other duties as may be required.

    Requirements

    An Associate’s degree or equivalent related work experience incorporating the above responsibilities.  A minimum of two years’ experience in residential lending, bank operations or a closely related field.  Excellent organizational, time management, interpersonal and problem-solving skills. A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
