  • Overview

    Provides general administrative support and assistance to the payment systems management with customer questions and problem resolution. Performs analysis of various reports, transaction processing, and testing, training and customer service inquiries. May assist the Item Processing and ATM Processing Supervisors with more complex transactions as required. Performs functions, within scope of authority and expertise, in conformance with established Bank policies, procedures and objectives. Provides the highest level of service and responsiveness to customers and co-workers.


    • Supports Payment Operations Manager with testing, training, and documentation needed for all system related upgrades, releases and new product roll outs. Provides analysis, documentation, training, and assist with developing staff regarding service expectations for new products and procedures.
    • May perform the functions of an Item Processing or ATM Processing Supervisor in absence of said Supervisor. Consults with a Payment Operations manager for guidance on issues that may exceed scope of authority.Be knowledgeable about all deposit, business, and loan products off.
    • Create and analyze management information and provide reports as determined.
    • Performs work independently within scope of established guidelines and practices. Consults with Manager where clarification or exception to Bank policy may be required.
    • Ensure all policy and procedure manuals are updated, and documented to ensure full compliance with all releases and upgrades.
    • Works with multiple web based applications to assist with check processing activities, ATM/Debit card processing and fraud monitoring.
    • Perform as a team member in allocating and coordinating the daily work flow and contribute to the fulfillment of department and company objectives and goals.
    • Researches and resolves customer service issues related to all Item and ATM processing activities.
    • Actively participates in settlement activities related to check processing, ATM deposit processing, cash items and general ledger.
    • Refers sales opportunities to other departments or bank affiliates in support of established objectives.
    • Completes all prescribed training in a timely fashion, as requested.
    • Performs all duties in accordance with prescribed guidelines. Ensures full compliance with the Bank’s Information Security Policies and Procedures.
    • Performs related and unrelated duties as may be required.




    High School diploma or its equivalent. Must possess a minimum of four years of Bank Operations or Retail (Community) Banking experience. Effective organizational, interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently among various departments in a fast paced environment. Must possess at least intermediate technology skills, including knowledge of word processing, database and spreadsheet applications. Must have scheduling flexibility and be able to work extended hours as needed.
